JULY MEETING

HORSESHOES and LINE DANCING

THE DANCING DOG P.H, BOBBING

http://www.dancingdogsaloon.co.uk/

Along the A249 towards Sittingbourne, the pub is just past the Crematorium on the left hand side.

Sean, the Landlord of the Dancing Dog Saloon was pleased to welcome us for an evening with lots going on.

The Dancing Dog is an adults fun pub, so we all turned up in Stetson hats and Cowboy boots!!!

The landlord had been as good as his word and contributed two beer barrels and a plank - for PILLOW FIGHTING.

Chris, our excellent stand in organiser forget one thing - the pillows - or did he forget to tell the landlord we had changed to Horseshoes?

No matter, no pillows means pillow fighting gets to live for another meeting.

Horseshoes was played - in a sort of disorganised desultory way, no organisation I guess.

watched by various cow poker, or cow pokers....

Then the nervous anticipation before the line dancing starts - it's the waiting that gets to you.

Until finally its Hoot-nanny away!!

A great evening was had by all!

THE AGM THEME AND DINNER DATE

Everyone agreed with the suggestion to hire a load of bikes and have a days riding followed by posing with the theme of GASS ANGELS.

It was agreed this would be on the MONDAY.  We would ride out and then go straight into the AGM dinner on Monday night.

Everyone agreed to obtain their own jackets and decorate them.

Brian agreed to create and print off iron-on GASS transfers for the back of everyone's jackets.

It was agreed not to mimic Hells Angels - but to just label us G.A.S.S.

The Dancing Dog Saloon is a great venue for GASS and we will have to go back next year for a Quick Draw Competition.

Good food and a cheap meeting - £313, not due to anyone keeping to the austerity rules,

mainly because so many were away on hols, but it was cheap no the less!

Well done Chris, well done guys!
